Revelations and Completions

Hello all! I have finally taken the time to post some pics of stuff I have done.

First up, the Jack Russel that I made for Mark:

I was initially thinking of making a custom designed 'dog house' themed frame for this, but I decided against it. That being said, methinks that it turned out pretty good. And it was very well received, which is always a good thing.

Next up, Bonnie's Garfield:

The frame for this one was a neat find. There is a discount merchant here called Gordman's, and we occassionaly manage to find neat frames. Also shown in this picture is the gift card to a local coffee shop called The Mill that Bonnie likes to go to. Bonnie is my car pooler and these items were meant as a Christmas gift. Needless to say, these were VERY well received! (The happy pic I took of Bonnie was too blurry from all her hopping around all happy like...)

And finally, one for ME!

This is a kit from Dimension that I got because, well let's be honest: you don't see many projects with bicycles on them. And the notion behind it is pretty nice too. ;-)

As for Evangeline... Well... She is still languishing in "To Be Completed" land. But fear not! As soon as I complete one more little project (that I will be using as the centerpiece for a shadow box idea that I have) I will be getting right back to working on her. HONEST!

That is all that I have as far as finished stuff to show off. I do want to leave you all with a sure sign that Spring is deffinately on its way:

You might not be able to see too well, but there are a gaggle of robins in this picture! I took this a couple of weeks ago (has it really been that long ago?!?) and shortly thereafter, things started to -more or less- warm up. AND the sun has been staying out a lot longer each day and the temps have been going up as well. Yippie, yippie, yippie!!! ;-) Can't wait to get the bikes dusted off and go riding again.

And with that, I will sign off and see you all next time. Happy stitchy!

Comments:
Your stitching is lovely as always. You know, we had a mess of robins here a couple or three weeks ago and now none to be seen!

Hello, I always did like that Jack Russell, he is gorgeous, and looks great framed too!

Glad to see you back!

Congrats for this 61st post! lol!!!
No wonder your friends were delighted with your gifts! They're both wonders!
Take care!

Hey my name is Greg as well. Sure is nice to see another guy out there stitching. Keep up the great work.
